Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Operate the overhead crane with grapple responsibly, safely, and efficiently, in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Operate the hook loader, telehandler, forklift, and other machinery as assigned by the line manager or superior, based on the company’s operational needs.
- Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks as instructed by the line manager or superior.
- Clean assigned equipment as scheduled or when required, ensuring it remains in good working condition.
- Report any necessary maintenance or repairs to the line manager or superior promptly.
- Complete all required documentation and equipment checklists and assist with routine and ad-hoc maintenance tasks, especially during plant downtime or as directed by the company.

About You
The ideal candidate should have:
- Valid Driving Licences C, C1, and CPC (a copy must be submitted with the application).
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a willingness to work effectively within a team environment.
- Take responsibility for the plant equipment they operate.
- Possess a valid and clean Police Conduct Certificate (a copy must be submitted with the application).
- Holding valid licences for Heavy Plant Equipment, Telehandler, Baler, and Forklift will be considered an asset. If not already certified, the selected candidate must be willing to attend compulsory training upon acceptance of the job offer.
- Previous experience in operating heavy plant vehicles will also be considered an asset.
