Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Read and apply P&IDs;
- Administer SCADA data collection functions including the use of logbooks and CMMS.;
- Utilize the SCADA systems to monitor system statistics.;
- Assist in gathering information for reporting needs (SCADA Daily Inspection and SCADA Reports for Organic, BW Line and AD Plant amongst others);
- Overall monitoring of all equipment and to identify solutions to operational problems;
- Liaise with the Senior Technical Officer regarding the maintenance and breakdowns of the plant.

About You
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a good understanding of the plant operations;
- Be IT literate and able to use Microsoft Outlook (A test will be carried out during the interview);
- Be able to prepare reports both handwritten and via digital means.;
- Possess sufficient proficiency in English and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
- Have an understanding of pumps/motors/sensors and basic machine control in order to understand possible faults before calling in electricians or fitters when there is a problem;
- Have a Valid & Clean Police Conduct (A copy of must be presented with the application).
