Yesterday, at approximately 11pm, members of the Civil Protection Department were called to Wied Fulija in Żurrieq to address a small fire in the area. 

One of the two rehabilitated landfill mounds was impacted by these fires. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated. 

WasteServ assures the public that it is fully committed to restoring the area affected by the fire once investigations are concluded.
